Sparkler Ellie

Good Morning folks, Katrina here and I’m finally back in the land of keeping up with myself!
Hope your all well! Im so excited to be here today to be sharing this project with you – its something a bit different for me.  I just fell head over heals for Sparkler Ellie when I saw her on the new release – you can purchase her here in the shop – then I had this idea of making something special for my certain little lady who will turn 6 in just a few days time – she loves to sit and draw and write so what would be better than her own personalised notebook!
I just LOVE how she has turned out, the image was coloured with copics.
I also used some of the beautiful MME Collections ‘Memories’ 6×6 paper stack, Im so head over heals for this set well I hope you like her – The Prima Pearls flourish just finished it off for me – if you would like more details on my project then please pop to my blog ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you again soon and remember to join in with the current challenge on The Paper nest Dolls Challenge Blog

A Rainy but Happy Day!

Morning all – well its me Katrina from Creations By a Butterfly and its my first time posting for The Paper Nest Dolls! Im so excited to be here and be part of this amazing journey with Christine and the team!
Now I just hope I’m doing all this right but I’m here to share with you today a card I made from one special little lady to another ๐Ÿ™‚
Yesterday was my little girl’s 3rd Birthday and I could think of no better image than ‘Rainy Day Friends‘ available here from the store ๐Ÿ™‚ – they remind me of my girls (when they are getting along!).  So this is the card I have made for my ‘big girl’ to give to her sister!
I coloured the image to look like them (I have a very blond and a very brunette!) and I tried to include their favourite colours in it as well – just so it was a bit more personal!

The image was coloured with copics and the papers, ribbon and charms were from my stash.  The beautiful flowers are from a good friend of mine!
Well I hope you like my card – if you would like more details on anything please pop over to my blog ๐Ÿ™‚   Also remember the fantastic challenge blog is now up and running so pop over and join us there too ๐Ÿ™‚
See you again soon ,
Katrina
