Get Ready for Some “Spookiness” with Warlock Owen!

Hi, and it's Valerie here again! I just LOVE working with the Owen images; I don't know if it's because I have 3 sons, or because I have 4 brothers, but for whatever reason it is, this little guy always warms my heart.

Today, Owen is a Warlock, and he's busy stirring his brew, and getting ready for Halloween!

I made a 6″x6″ card, but after adding all the embellies (you can find details on my blog, ValByDesign) onto it, it got a bit wider ๐Ÿ˜‰ )

All the details, Copic colors, and products are shown on my blog.
Have a great Saturday (and Sunday!), and and Happy Scrapping!

Miss You Owen

Hi Dolls Friends!

It’s Valerie here today, and my card today is perfect for a little boy who wants to send a card to someone he’s missing. I used the Miss You Owen image on this tri-fold card that when folded up ends up being 5 1/2″ wide by 6″ high. I used Copic markers to color him in.

If you’re curious about which Copic colors I used and the die cuts for the “hi dad!” letters, you can find the info on my blog.
Have a wonderful weekend, and we’ll see you tomorrow with our awesome Christmas in July Blog Hop!!

Hammock Owen

Hi everyone it’s Kelly and I have a new project to share with you of a Paper Nest Dolls digi image called Hammock Owen.  I used some copics from the below photo to color the image, there is a lot of things going on in this image but it’s super cute and fun.  I added a branch from a sizzix die and some sweetheart blossoms to look like a tree.  I also added the hot air balloon in the sky for an extra embellishment and then used a couple butterflies and a memories title and I just love how it came out super cute.  Hope you like it and the image if you do head over to the link above to purchase your very own image for your collection.  Have a great day!  ~Kelly

Happy 4th of July!

I would like to wish everyone a
Happy 4th of July, have a fun and safe holiday.
Today I’m going to share Sparkler Ellie from
The Paper Nest with you,
she is perfect for any 4th of July project, card, or
scrapbook page. Plus you will see how I change it
up some to make her for any occasion you want, if you have
the imagination to do it.
I made the card shape like a star, used way to much
red, white and blue paper (I think I went a little over board)

Here are a few shots i took
up close so you can see the details
the flowers were handmade by me.

  One more of Sparkler Ellie
upclose if you can tell the
Background is a bit dark, I
colored it with V20 to give it
a darkness like if it was night,
not sure how if it worked.

The inside of the card I left blank to write
whatever you want or add a sentiment
from a stamp.
Now take a look at the sentiment it kinda fell sorry
but I changed it so she can be used for many
things as I said before.
Thankyou for looking, and how a
wonderful week and holiday.
